I was amazed at how often customers of mine are looking to get rid of something. Sometimes a bed and dresser, maybe a desk, or a box of toys from the garage. Since being a member of Freecycle, I am able to help both my customer and my community by finding a new home for the discarded items that are certainly too good for the trash bin. By re-homing these items, there are many in my own community that can have the things they need most at no cost to them and of course, there is never a fee to pick up the items from my customers.

I'm proud to be an active member in our local FreeCycle Group. 
The Freecycle Network™ is a nonprofit, charitable organization whose mission it is to make it easier to give items away via our globally local web communities at Freecycle.org than it is to throw items away. The Network is made up of 4,864 groups with 7,603,875 members around the world. It's a grassroots movement of people who are giving (and getting) stuff for free in their own towns.
